Develop a multi-year strategy that encompasses user experience and technology direction for the client and its interaction with the other brands in the company’s family.
Build strategic roadmaps to support the company’s short and long term goals and objectives.
Develop a team of PMs to define feature sets and priorities for the site as well as to maintain good Agile processes. Champion best practices in translating requirements into epics and user stories. Take responsibility to ensure that the team maintains a prioritized, well-groomed, and transparent backlog.
Work closely with GMs, User Experience, Engineering, and Program Management to design, build and deliver high quality products on schedule.
Serve as product champion for new and existing products.
Own key business and product metrics and drive major improvements through innovation and optimization.
You have demonstrated success in eCommerce innovation, user experiences, and technologies.
You have an unrelenting desire to understand how things work.
You love to learn about the techniques and technologies that your engineering colleagues are using to build your products. This includes the Agile development methodology; you’ve either used Agile before, or you’re very enthusiastic about learning.
You might be an ex-engineer—and if you’re not, you can still follow along in a technical discussion.
You possess the ability to dive into feature tradeoffs based on engineering constraints one hour, and then eloquently describe the business benefits of those features the next hour—and you enjoy doing so.
10+ years of product management experience.
Knowledge of the eCommerce space and technologies with a demonstrated track record of strong execution.
Understanding of consumer-focused web platforms and web analytics a plus.
Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and usability testing.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment.
MBA a plus.
