Job Requisition ID: 4922 Curious?  We get it.  We are too.   The Technology Group at Employer (HMH) is a dynamic team of technology professionals dedicated to the nimble delivery of quality educational content for the evolving digital age.  Not your traditional IT house, the Technology Group actively partners with functions across the business ecosystem to develop and deliver applications and platforms to a diverse range of digital channels.   The Information Security Coordinator is the process leader responsible for supporting and maintaining a corporate-wide information security management program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected. This position is responsible for identifying, supporting, and reporting on information security activities in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements, and aligns with the risk posture of the company.   Responsibilities: Support Technology and Business/Sales processes for response to client security and privacy inquiries. Facilitate a metrics and reporting framework for Information Security’s impact on revenue. Provide guidance and support for TG Security projects such as Security Awareness, Security Exercises, SOC 2, and other projects. Support compliance activities, including PCI, SOC2, SOX, and HIPAA through process tracking, documentation, and request follow-up. Maintain up-to-date information security policies, standards and guidelines. Facilitate a metrics and reporting framework to measure the capability of the security framework. Organize information security risk assessment process, including the reporting and oversight of treatment efforts to address negative findings.   Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 2 years of technology project/program management. Ability to effectively work as part of a cohesive and agile team. Awareness in managing regulated data environments (e.g. PCI, SOX, FERPA, HIPAA, and COPPA). Exposure to privacy frameworks. Ability to remain organized and to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources including team members, other internal departments and external parties. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.  Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in confidential matters. Excellent analytical skills required. Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must have excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills due to high amount of interaction with HMH staff, clients, and external vendors.
