This role will be part of the Commission Management Systems. The QA and Testing Analyst will participate in the hands-on test creation, manual and automated execution, analysis and reporting of functional and non-functional testing activities. Will work on tasks identified in the testing strategy and plan. And will be responsible for the accurate recording of defects and the collation of metrics and KPI information for reporting purposes. Responsibilities: • Analyze requirements, write test cases and create test data under supervision of the Test Lead • Conduct testing activities, analyze and record test results, record defects • Collate and report on metric data • Retest corrections to ensure problems are resolved • Assist in analyzing, documenting and communicating results • Provide test requirements and operational oversight to vendors • Ensure adherence to testing best practices and client testing standards • Must have the skills, technical and analytical, to be able to successfully collaborate with multiple teams to troubleshoot and isolate issues • Experience in ETL or data warehouse testing • Champion and participate in the activities of the broader QA and Testing community • Align to the wider team / group objectives Experience: • Proven experience executing testing tasks • Understanding of test management and defect tracking tools • Understanding of testing across the full software development lifecycle • Strong data analytical skill • Ability to be successful working independently and on a team • Customer and service orientation to support interaction with team resources and clients • Performance and productivity oriented to drive toward quality testing outcomes and results • Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members • Additional experience in one or more of the following is preferred: Informatica, SQL, Java, Junit, JIRA, ALM, Oracle Education: • Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business, Economics or Computer Science (or equivalent diploma / work experience) • Participation and/or completion in testing certification programs (Six Sigma, CSTE, ISTQB, ISEB or CSTP) read more
