Business Administrator

Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.

We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous person who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The successful candidate must plan his/her own work schedule, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.

Specifically:

• Support Business Account Manager through detailed tracking to closure of customer commercial requests
• Prepare and create detailed cost models and customer quotes for non-production services related to engineering, fixtures, equipment, etc.
• Manage customer purchase orders with timely reconciliation and closure
• Ensure customer payments are received on time; promptly resolve issues
• Attend customer commercial meetings as assigned by the Business Account Manager for awareness and to manage non-production services provided by Avo

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3 years in a cost accounting or business analyst role, with customer-facing experience
• Expert knowledge of spreadsheet applications, with strong attention to detail
• Experience in enterprise ERP systems with SAP preferred
• Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft 365 and Google workspace
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
