MemorialCare Medical Group Laguna Hills, CA is seeking an experienced Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician to provide outpatient coverage ASAP and ongoing into Summer 2026. Temp privileges are available, and the assignment has strong potential to extend or transition to locums-to-perm.

Their current per diem PCP departs 12/12/2025, and the earliest permanent candidates cannot start until August/September 2026, leaving a long-term coverage gap. Ideal for a physician seeking stability, consistent scheduling, and a premier Southern California outpatient environment.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: ASAP (target 12/15/2025)

• Duration: 3 6 months to start, ongoing through July/August 2026

• Schedule:

  • Preferred: 5 8s, Monday Friday (8a 5p)

  • Will consider 4 8s

  • No call

• Setting: Outpatient Primary Care (Family Medicine preferred)

• Patient Volume: /day

• Ages Seen: All ages required

• Temp Privileges:Available

• EMR: Epic

Candidate Requirements

• Active, unrestricted CA medical license + DEA

• BE/BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with PC experience (BC preferred; BE required)

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient primary care experience

• Epic outpatient experience REQUIRED

• Must have clean background/malpractice (any hit will delay or stop privileges)

• Local candidates preferred

  • Travel considered if presented as an all-inclusive rate

• Must be comfortable seeing all ages and performing basic outpatient procedures
  (suturing, biopsies, etc.)
