Company Description

Proveri Pharmacy Services is a growing pharmacy platform focused on hospice and long-term care.

We are building a scalable, operationally excellent pharmacy model across California.

This is not a traditional pharmacy manager role. This is a leadership seat with real ownership of outcomes.

Role Description

You will operate as the pharmacy leader and operator, with full ownership over performance, compliance, and growth. This role has direct impact on clinical programs, operations, and expansion initiatives, and works closely with ownership. You are expected to think and act like a business operator-not just a pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Active and valid California Pharmacist License
• Proven leadership experience (PIC or equivalent strongly preferred)
• Strong IV/sterile compounding experience preferred; required for top-tier compensation range
• Demonstrated ability to manage pharmacy operations and teams
• Understanding of hospice and/or LTC pharmacy workflows
• Experience with regulatory compliance, audits, and quality programs
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full legal and operational responsibility for pharmacy services (Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and regulatory compliance)
• Own pharmacy financial performance, workflow efficiency, and inventory strategy
• Lead staffing, hiring, training, and scheduling of pharmacists and technicians
• Build and optimize clinical programs in hospice and LTC settings
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospice partners, facilities, and vendors
• Drive quality improvement, operational excellence, and service expansion

Sterile / IV Leadership (Critical):

• Lead sterile compounding operations and IV program development
• Serve or grow into the Designated Person (DP) responsible for USP <797> compliance
• Oversee cleanroom operations, SOPs, training, and quality assurance
• Build and scale IV/infusion capabilities as a core growth driver

Compensation

$75.00 – $100.00/hour, depending on qualifications and experience

Candidates with strong IV/sterile compounding leadership and proven operational experience will be considered at the higher end of the range.

Additional Compensation: Performance-based bonus (tied to operational, clinical, and growth outcomes) On-call stipend
