CRNA Locum Opportunity Winona, MN

Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: Winona, Minnesota
Start Date: ASAP February (flexible for late January if credentialing allows)
Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend

Schedule & Shift Details

• Monday Friday, 8-hour shifts (one 10-hour block available; open to candidate preference)
• Weekday call and weekend/holiday call (typically 1:6)
• Must be available for on-call duty within 30 minutes

Practice Setting

• Rural hospital setting
• CRNA-based model (no MD oversight)
• Support staff: 3 4 CRNAs per shift; 2 pediatric CRNAs on Fridays
• Busy OR with 4 core rooms, dedicated Endo room, C-suite, and DaVinci Robot for General and OB
• EMR: Cerner/Oracle
• Hospital size: 49 beds

Case Mix & Patient Population

• General, OB, Ortho (total joints, neuro spine, sports), Plastics, Cosmetic & Reconstruction, Podiatry, Eye Surgery (cataracts)
• C-sections: per year
• Light pediatrics (dental and lap procedures), adult and elderly patients
• Average cases per day: 3 5 depending on OR load

Required Skills

• Nerve blocks, OB, General, Spinals
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Rural health experience is a major plus

Credentials & Requirements

• Board Certification: NBCRNA
• MN State License (required)
• DEA license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum Experience: 2 years
• Credentialing timeframe: 30-45 days
