Head Pattern Maker & Atelier Lead
CINQ | Los Angeles | Full-Time | On-Site
CINQ is a luxury, made-to-order bridal house designed and produced in Los Angeles. Known for sculpted corsetry and hand-finished detail, each gown is created with a strong point of view and an uncompromising standard of quality.
We are hiring a Head Pattern Maker & Atelier Lead to take ownership of pattern development, garment construction, and final quality across every gown
Role Overview
The Head Pattern Maker is responsible for overseeing all aspects of gown production, from pattern to final finish. This role leads the atelier team, enforces quality control, and ensures that every gown leaving the studio meets the standard expected.
This role requires a highly trained eye and a clear sense of ownership — someone who can move with authority, uphold an exacting standard, and contribute to the ongoing refinement of our atelier processes.

Atelier Leadership
- Oversee daily atelier operations, including seamstresses, tailors, and pattern makers
- Manage production timelines and workflow across all gowns
- Train and elevate the technical skill level of the team
Quality Control
- Implement and enforce strict quality control standards across all garments
- Review each gown at multiple stages of production before it leaves the atelier
- Catch and correct construction issues including (but not limited to) puckering, bulk, imbalance, and improper finishing
- Ensure no gown leaves the studio unresolved, rushed, or inconsistent
Technical Oversight
- Work closely with pattern makers using Gerber AccuMark to ensure accuracy in patterns and grading
- Oversee fit, proportion, and construction methods across all designs
- Identify and resolve technical challenges in design execution
Ownership & Accountability
- Take full responsibility for the final quality of every gown
- Reject and return work internally when it does not meet standard
- Establish a culture of precision, care, and accountability within the atelier
Qualification
- 7+ years experience in luxury fashion, bridal, or couture production
- Strong technical background in garment construction and pattern making
- Proficiency in Gerber or equivalent pattern making systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and finishing
- Proven ability to lead and manage a production team
Most importantly:
- You have a sharp, intuitive eye and strong personal standards
- You notice what others miss
- You are comfortable holding a high bar — even when it requires redoing work
What We Value
At CINQ, we care deeply about how something is made and how it feels when it is worn. We are looking for someone who shares that sensitivity — someone who understands that small details are not small, and that the final experience of the bride is shaped by every decision made in the atelier.
