The Department of Human Services is actively seeking a Security Officer 1 to join our security team at Clarks Summit State Hospital. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding people and property while enforcing Commonwealth and facility regulations related to hospital operations during normal and emergency situations. Work involves performing security patrols of the facility, monitoring security systems and cameras, and investigating complaints, accidents, incidents, and potential violations of policies, laws, rules and regulations. This includes performing security checks of all buildings to ensure all doors and windows are secure and that no unauthorized personnel are located on hospital property, conducting searches for missing patients, and responding to all emergency situations. You will also maintain security daily logs and reports, as well as prepare incident and accident reports when needed.
