About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization to identify a Clinical Medical Director / Lead Provider to support programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), children, and behavioral health populations.

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to shape care delivery, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and make a meaningful impact in underserved communities. The organization provides a flexible, supportive environment where clinical leaders can influence both patient care and program development.

The Role

This position blends direct patient care with clinical leadership. You will work closely with behavioral health, nursing, and program teams to support whole-person, community-based care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing primary care services across IDD, pediatric, and behavioral health populations
  • Conducting assessments, follow-ups, and care planning
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Offering clinical guidance and support to staff
  • Contributing to program development, quality initiatives, and best practices
  • Supporting a mix of telehealth and in-person services

Who We're Looking For

We are open to Physicians (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioners (NP/CRNP), or Physician Assistants (PA-C) with a passion for serving underserved populations.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience working with individuals with IDD, autism, or special needs populations
  • Background in primary care, pediatrics, or behavioral health
  • Interest in or experience with clinical leadership, supervision, or program development
  • A collaborative, patient-centered approach to care
  • Comfort working in a hybrid care model (telehealth + in-person)
