Physician for Medical Evaluations / Occupational Medicine Exams / Elizabeth City, NC Locums, Inc. is seeking Physicians for a client in Elizabeth City, NC to provide evaluations for soft-tissue injuries, Workmans Compensation claims, and physical therapy referrals. The position is a part-time need; the client is looking for 4-6 hours in Elizabeth City one day each week, preferably each Wednesday. However, the client is open to whatever day the provider has open if Wednesdays might not be available. Locums, Inc. would provide hourly and malpractice insurance. About the Opportunity:-Position is available immediately-Duration will be ongoing with no sunset date -4-6 hours per day, one day each week -15-20 patient evaluations per day-Prescribing physical therapy treatment when needed-Typical evaluations are for soft-tissue injuries, lumbar sprain, cervical sprain, basic initial exam. -Referrals to physical therapy and outside imaging/specialty services-Paid training-Paid Malpractice, Hourly compensation, Mileage, and Lodging providedPosition Requirements:-Active and unrestricted North Carolina Physician License-Active and unrestricted DEA License read more
