Backup Available to the MHAS Physicians: Yes; Other OB/GYN s.
2 Clinics: 1- inside hospital, 1- 20 min away
4+ providers see patients in the clinic daily.
Program Objectives:Provide clinic and L&D support to ensure consistent high-quality care.
Expand access to care for women in the community.
Reduce time to schedule Well Women s Visits (currently scheduling 2 months out for NP).
Opportunity to increase GYN surgeries.
Hospital and Clinic DetailsMHAS Providers in clinic M-F, and on-call after hours.
Only on call Saturday and Sunday.
Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 38
Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 456
NICU Level 1
Anesthesia: Yes, call on weekend and nights.
MFM: Yes, Tele.
Point of Care testing performed in clinic: UA, Urine
protein/glucose, Glucose, Hemoglobin, Hemoccult
