We are seeking Board-Certified Cardiologists for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Ovando, MT. This position offers a mix of outpatient and inpatient coverage and the chance to work in a scenic, serene region of Montana. Assignment Details:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general cardiology services, including:
  • Patient consultations in an ambulatory clinic (Monday to Friday, 8 am5 pm).
  • Rounding on hospitalized patients.
• Supervise and collaborate with a team of 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Participate in nuclear cardiology reads (if certified).
• Cover scheduled call assignments, typically requiring a 20-minute response time.

Assignment Schedule:

Specific dates include coverage during key holiday periods and high-demand times. Examples of priority dates:

• March 324, 2025 (spring break coverage).
• May 23June 2, 2025 (holiday coverage).
• July 1828, 2025 (high-demand summer coverage).
• December 19, 2025January 5, 2026 (holiday coverage).

Additional Information:

• Patient Volume: Approximately 912 patients per shift
• EMR System: Epic
• Licensure: Must be licensed in Montana or eligible via Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• Certifications: ACLS required; Board Certification in Cardiology required.
• Temporary hospital privileges are available for qualifying candidates.
