Over that time, it has grown to become a leading power solutions provider for applications demanding cutting edge performance for commercial, industrial, and military mission-critical applications, is looking for a motivated technically minded individual for a position on its Engineering Team
Job Description:
The selected candidate will be expected to execute in a small, yet diverse, team environment through all phases of the product life cycle, this includes concept development, detail design, qualification, manufacturing transition, and production support. The engineer will be responsible for supporting the development of innovative and robust power supply solutions to meet demanding customer requirements and will leverage their mechanical engineering expertise to perform detailed design and analyses. Day to day, activities include working with 3D solid models, drawings, performing analyses to assure fit & function; performing thermal, structural/stress, and vibration analyses; assessing designs against environmental requirements.
Desired Skills and Education:
- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge in fundamentals of mechanical design, analysis, and documentation principles
- Experience in Electronics Packaging and thermal simulation and analytical techniques. (Computational Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Analysis etc).
- Experience with CAD development tools such as Inventor, Solidworks or Creo.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated self-starter and problem solver with ability and desire to work in diverse multi-disciplinary teams
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary - $90,000 - $100,000 Based on Experience.
