Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead and execute marketing initiatives for our Red Chickz franchise. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, increasing customer acquisition and retention, and maximizing revenue through innovative marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
The ideal candidate is both a big-picture thinker and a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals
- Build and manage the annual marketing calendar, campaigns, and promotions
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer insights to inform strategy
- Lead, mentor, and manage internal marketing staff and external vendors/agencies
Brand Management
- Ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all channels
- Protect and elevate the Red Chickz brand within the local market
- Oversee in-store branding, signage, and customer experience touchpoints
Digital Marketing & Growth
- Manage social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to drive engagement and traffic
- Oversee paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) with a focus on ROI
- Optimize online presence including SEO, website, and third-party delivery platforms
- Track and report on KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, CAC, and ROI
Local Store Marketing
- Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to drive foot traffic
- Build partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations
- Plan and promote events, grand openings, and special promotions
Customer Engagement & Retention
- Implement loyalty programs, email marketing, and SMS campaigns
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve marketing effectiveness
- Drive repeat business through targeted campaigns and promotions
Budget & Performance Management
- Manage marketing budget and allocate resources effectively
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data insights
- Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus)
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the restaurant, franchise, or hospitality industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through marketing initiatives
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and paid advertising
- Experience with local store marketing and community engagement
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools
