About the Role:

Patient Care Technicians provide direct patient care in patients' homes, handle program setup and education, and support the field sales team with inventory and logistics. This position may require travel within a 2-3-hour radius and supports multiple sales professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain medical equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and in detail.
  • Follow infection control protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and complete setups, adjustments, and patient pickups at their homes.
  • 70% travel, 30% face-to-face interaction with patients in their homes.
  • Educate and instruct patients on the Ermi program and protocol.
  • Maintain account information in the company CRM.
  • Clean, package, and return devices to the home office as needed.
  • Keep the storage facility clean and compliant, and count inventory accurately.
  • Follow all federal and state healthcare regulations and company policies.


Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Patient Care Technician (PCT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or equivalent healthcare certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
  • Willingness to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 1-3 years of Customer Service and/or Healthcare experience, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding patient service.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adjust quickly to change and multiple demands.
  • Ability to listen to patients and organizational leaders and communicate effectively.
  • Work as part of a team to meet patient and physician needs.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Problem-solving and idea generation are a plus.
  • Healthcare experience is highly recommended.
