Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist at our San Luis Obispo, CA location. The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitative care to patients, working to develop and implement personalized therapy plans. Routine tasks include assessing patients' needs, delivering treatment techniques to improve mobility and function, and maintaining clear and effective communication with patients, caregivers, and the healthcare team. The role also involves working with patients of varying ages, including children, to support their specific therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Occupational Therapy and rehabilitation techniques
• Knowledge and experience in upper extremity rehab, neurorehabilitation and related healthcare practices
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, caregivers, and the medical team
• Experience working with upper extremity injuries
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California
• Compassion, patience, and sensitivity when working with individuals recovering from injury or acquired conditions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical setting
