About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Transportation & Service Delivery to take full ownership of our day-to-day operational execution.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery from the moment a trip is booked through final execution.

You will oversee:

• Dispatch operations

• Chauffeur and CDL driver workforce

• Motorcoach operations

• High-level alignment with our CSR (customer service) team

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership

• Own and manage daily transportation operations across dispatch, drivers, and service delivery

• Ensure all trips are executed on time, accurately, and at the highest service standard

• Serve as the primary point of accountability for operational performance

Dispatch Management

• Lead and manage dispatch team performance

• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Optimize routing, scheduling, and coverage

• Reduce service failures and missed trips

Driver Recruitment & Management

• Oversee hiring and onboarding of:

• Chauffeurs

• CDL / motorcoach drivers

• Build and maintain a consistent driver pipeline

• Ensure compliance with DOT and internal standards

• Improve driver quality, performance, and retention

Motorcoach Operations

• Oversee all scheduling, staffing, and execution of motorcoach services

• Ensure proper coverage for all large vehicle bookings

• Support growth and organization of the motorcoach division

CSR Alignment (High-Level Oversight)

• Partner with CSR Manager to ensure:

• Accurate and complete booking information

• Clear expectations set with clients

• Improve handoffs between CSR and dispatch

• Reduce operational issues caused by booking errors

Process & Performance Management

• Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies

• Build and implement scalable processes

• Track and report on KPIs related to service, staffing, and efficiency

Key Performance Metrics

• On-time performance

• Service failure rate

• Driver fill rate

• Fleet utilization

• Dispatch efficiency

• Booking accuracy (CSR alignment)

• Motorcoach revenue growth

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in transportation, logistics, or service-based operations

• Proven experience managing:

• Dispatch teams

• Driver workforce (chauffeurs and/or CDL drivers)

• Strong understanding of scheduling, routing, and operational workflows

• Experience building processes and improving team performance

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused

• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary: $105,000 – $115,000 (Dependant on Experience and Track Record)
