Job Title: Business Intelligence Engineer

Location: Jersey City NJ

Job summary: This is Associate BI Engineer role in Corporate Services Technology. This is a hands-on role where candidate will work closely with team leads and will have opportunities to learn different domain and skills under their mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Application development and testing, building data integrations between systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality technical delivery
• Hands-on Experience in designing reports/dashboards using Power BI.
• Hands-on experience in creating data models in Power BI.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and data pipelines using Python
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications and dashboards
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Assist in database migrations, upgrades, and patching.
• Support month end and quarter end processes
• Document process workflows, data flow diagrams

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation, DAX, and data visualization best practices
• Strong hands-on experience with Python (e.g., pandas, NumPy, APIs, scripting)
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and in SQL (writing queries, joins, aggregations, stored procedures)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in the finance industry.
