Associate Attorney - Healthcare & Insurance Defense

Defense Litigation Attorney | 30-person law firm | Sherman, TX | Hybrid after Initial Training Period

Details & Benefits:

• Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000 ballpark base salary plus bonuses based on billable hours
• Billable Hours: 160 per month
• Practice area focus: Insurance Defense Litigation and Healthcare Liability Defense
• In-Office at first with later flexibility to work 1-2 days remote per week
• Health Insurance: 3 plan options – firm pays $725/month towards medical insurance, which fully covers some of the plan options

• Firm pays for STD, LTD, and a 50k Life Insurance policy
• 401k with employer match

Qualifications:

• 3-10 years' experience as an Attorney with a focus on Insurance Defense Litigation, Business Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Healthcare Litigation, Med Mal Defense, or similar space
• 1st and 2nd chair trial experience strongly preferred
• Licensed to practice in Texas
• Strong academic credentials and job tenure
