Quality Engineer
Title: Quality Engineer Pay Rate: $35.00/hr Location: Sumter, SC Note: This is a W2 contract position – 1099, C2C, & 3 rd party candidates WILL NOT be considered The Quality Engineer is responsible for product and service quality evaluation and control. They will work cross-functionally in the development and or maintenance of products or services. They will be involved in resolving equipment and process-related production issues, activities including equipment, process, materials, and method validation, as well as statistical analysis and metrics to analyze those systems and processes being measured. Position Qualifications: · Demonstrated basic knowledge of quality engineering policies, principles, and best practices · Demonstrated basic knowledge of FDA/ISO requirements · Ability to apply basic statistical sample size calculations to work for quality determination on simple projects · Ability to apply basic understanding of regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA, ISO, etc.) to support work with direct supervision · Ability to write test protocol, tests, collect data, and write reports to validate against plan to ensure product is used as intended · Basic knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures in a job family or skill · Ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete own work, including depending on others for instruction, guidance, and/or direction, as needed; ability to develops competence in own area by performing routine work · A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant industry preferred .
