What you will do
The Lead Financial Analyst role supports one of Kenvue's key manufacturing sites. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide financial guidance to the management team as it delivers both short and long-term goals while supporting monthly and quarterly financial closing and reporting requirements. Will also be responsible for proactively identifying associated risks and mitigation plans in partnership with management.
The individual will support the leadership team in identifying, evaluating, and selecting key initiatives to achieve overall goals, including providing support to the regional finance team in support of overall consumer sector strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage as lead site finance business partner for manufacturing facility; provide decision support to partners by developing thorough financial analysis while cultivating both internal and external partnerships
- Lead the development of the site long-range financial plan in partnership with various groups by translating insights into cost effective, value adding solutions while creating a roadmap to achieve long term financial goals
- Ensure monthly financial closing process is completed in accordance with local/corporate requirements and reflect accurate financial position
- Prepare reports on the actual results of current expenditures relating to the budget, and the explanations for any variations, while monitoring key financial metrics and performance indicators
- Support the site for the annual budget and forecast updates including standard setting
- Serve as finance lead for the physical inventory of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products
- Actively participate in meetings of the corporation, and keep senior management informed on the current financial position and risks of the company
- Demonstrate and inspire the behaviors that reinforce our company values and the quality statement in all activities within and outside the company
- Ensure quality and compliance in all actions fulfilling all regulatory requirements on a timely basis
- Create environment where leadership and talent development are top priorities; lead and adapt to change in future organizational model
- Support both internal and external audits, provide support during audits to comply with accounting standards, and company policies, procedures and rules, as well as with those of regulatory agencies and ensure compliance of such
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance/accounting related field
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong presentation skills
- Ability to influence others in a matrix organization
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Requires on-site work fostering company culture and enhancing collaborative teamwork
Preferred:
- Business experience in at least one of the following areas: Finance Supply Chain, Cost Accounting, Finance, Supporting Manufacturing environment
- MBA and/or CPA, CMA
