Volt is immediately hiring forProject Construction Manager in Monticello, AR.
As a Project Construction Manager, you will:
- Participate in reliable process design, help to get the details right
- Organize and develop the project team development of agendas, projectupdatesand meeting minutes
- Conduct weekly contractormeetingtoensurethat communications are adequate to keep theprojectorganization informed and involved.
- Conduct contractor vendor site bid meeting with contractorsfor each bid.Review bid documents with contractor candidates. Review bidsand workwith project manager, engineering manager,procurement manager, and project teamfor vendor selection and purchaseorderissuance.
- Ensure all safetyand environmentalmetrics are implementedtoclients,local, state, and federal standards.
- Manage the projectreceiving and work with project accountingtoensureinvoices are paidin time.
- Primary contact forcontractors, on-site consultants, on-site suppliers,on-sitevendorsandstart up people.
- Communicateall external contacts with the Project Manager.
- Develop and manage the project post start up punch list
- Performs role ofsafetymanager during times of light construction or whensafetymanager is unavailable
This is a full time, Contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Required experience in construction setting.
- Proficiency with reporting tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Pay rate : $65- $75 Per hour.
Pay rate offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
