SNI Financial has an Accounting Supervisor role in Fort Worth. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional ready to take the next step into a people-management role within a stable yet growing organization. The role blends hands-on technical accounting, team supervision, and cross-functional collaboration, with exposure to complex partnership structures and investment-related accounting.
You will oversee a small team while working closely with leadership on reporting, close processes, and special initiatives. The environment values professionalism, accountability, and clear communication, with a strong emphasis on work/life balance.
Key Requirements
- 4+ years of accounting experience, including some supervisory or lead responsibilities
- Accepted backgrounds:
- Industry accounting
- Public accounting (Audit or Tax)
- Combination of public and industry experience
- Preferred experience:
- Real estate, REIT, and/or fund accounting (preferred for industry candidates; strongly preferred for public accounting candidates)
- High-net-worth family, family office, or wealth management exposure
- Joint venture or partnership accounting involving multiple entities
- Tax backgrounds considered if paired with high-net-worth or family office experience
- Strong communication skills—must be comfortable asking questions, collaborating, and interacting at all levels of the organization
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and support accounting staff through:
- Training, coaching, assigning work, and performance accountability
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of journal entries and accounting deliverables
- Demonstrate advanced accounting knowledge and meet productivity standards established by management
- Review staff work and provide feedback to ensure quality and timeliness
- Assist with quarterly reporting, including detailed data review and final reports
- Support year-end general ledger close
- Coordinate preparation of tax returns with internal tax stakeholders
- Participate in and support special projects as assigned
- Maintain strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Follow established policies, procedures, and reporting structure
- Maintain regular attendance and professional office conduct
