Title: Accounting Manager

Location: San Diego, hybrid

Compensation: $120K–$160K + 10% bonus + OT

What You Will Do

• Manage and execute accounting and finance activities across multiple clients
• Lead month‑end close processes, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Support and review technical accounting analyses and operational accounting tasks
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other FP&A responsibilities
• Support SOX compliance, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives
• Oversee day‑to‑day engagement delivery and ensure high‑quality work product
• Serve as a direct point of contact for client leadership and provide consultative guidance
• Mentor and provide direction to Associates and Senior Associates

What You Bring

• Active CPA required
• Big 4 audit or advisory experience strongly preferred
• 4–7 years of total accounting experience
• Experience with life sciences, biotech, or technology companies is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a consulting environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
• Collaborative, resourceful, and comfortable working independently when needed
• Interest in developing others and contributing to a high‑performing team
