This is a full-time position on the SPARC team.

We are looking for Licensed/Associate Licensed Clinicians to provide Community Support Team (CST) services in the Asheville, NC Area, as a CST Team Lead. CST is designed to work with adults with Mental Illness and Substance Use needs who have complex treatment needs be able to live in the community.

CST is an intensive community-based service with a team approach to meeting the client's needs that consists of a licensed or associate licensed (LMFT/A, LCSW/A, or LCMHC/A), SUD Professional and 2 QPs or QP/AP combo that provides direct treatment and restorative interventions as well as case management.

The CST Team Lead, among other things, would be responsible for completing assessments and clinical document updates, supporting the program supervisor in treatment planning and clinical guidance of the team, and ensuring treatment intensity needs are being met. CST is designed to provide:

  1. Symptom stability by reducing presenting psychiatric or substance use disorder symptoms.
  2. Restorative interventions for development of interpersonal, community, coping and independent living skills.
  3. Psychoeducation.
  4. First responder intervention to deescalate a crisis (after hours on call rotation among team)
  5. Service coordination and ensure linkage to community services and resources.

In this position you must have:

Qualified candidates must have a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, sociology, or a related human services field and a full or associate clinical license (LMFT/A, LCSW/A, or LCMHC/A).
