We are partnering with one of our clients to identify a reliable and detail-focused Accounting Clerk to join their finance team in
Duluth, GA. This position is well suited for someone with hands-on general accounting experience who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and supporting daily financial operations. In this role, you'll assist with transactional accounting duties, maintain financial records, and contribute to reporting and reconciliation efforts that support the overall success of the department.
Key Responsibilities:- Process invoices, payments, and other routine accounting transactions with a high level of accuracy
- Maintain organized accounting files, records, and supporting documentation
- Perform consistent data entry while validating financial information for accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports and summaries
- Provide support during month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to research and resolve discrepancies
- Follow established company policies and standard accounting procedures
Qualifications:- Minimum of 2 years of recent general accounting experience, including A/P and A/R
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and similar functions
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Great Plains preferred
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
- Associates degree required, or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred
Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
