A well-established, mission-driven healthcare organization in Florida is seeking a Board-Certified Physician (MD or DO) to serve as a Lead Medical Provider. This is a full-time, on-site position that combines direct patient care with leadership and administrative responsibilities.
The Lead Medical Provider will work in collaboration with executive medical leadership to oversee the quality and coordination of clinical services, support provider performance, and help shape operational policies and strategic goals.
Position Highlights:
Blend of clinical care and administrative leadership
Collaborate with executive leadership to guide clinical operations
Lead peer reviews, support provider scheduling, and optimize workflows
Mentor and coach medical providers and clinical staff
Assist with quality improvement, compliance, and performance objectives
Participate in organizational planning and strategy
Job Details:
Position Type: Full-time, employed
Location: Florida (specific site discussed during interview)
Schedule: 4 5 days/week, no remote
Salary Range: $235,000 $250,000 (based on experience)
Supervision: Reports to Chief Medical Officer
Clinical Setting: Outpatient primary care
EMR: EPIC
Requirements:
Board Certification (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty)
Active Florida Medical License
Current DEA registration
Eligible for hospital privileges (if applicable)
3+ years of experience in a clinical leadership or supervisory role preferred
Must be able to work full-time as an employed provider
