About the role
Join a Quality Assurance team supporting GMP operations within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role focuses on the review and release of raw materials and consumables, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and quality standards prior to material release. This is a documentation-focused QA role supporting day-to-day quality operations and supplier quality activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Quality Assurance support for incoming raw materials and consumables used in manufacturing operations
- Review GMP documentation associated with incoming materials and consumables
- Perform final review of executed GMP documentation and determine material acceptability according to standard operating procedures
- Ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant prior to release of raw materials
- Support day-to-day GMP quality operations related to raw materials management
- Manage documentation workflows related to material receipt and release activities
- Support Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs) and supplier-related quality events
- Identify documentation discrepancies and escalate quality issues when necessary
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance with GMP standards
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory and internal quality requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or allied health field (REQUIRED)
- Minimum 3+ years of GMP Quality Assurance experience
- Experience reviewing and releasing raw materials and consumables
- Strong experience working with GMP documentation (non-laboratory environment)
- Experience supporting day-to-day GMP quality operations
- Experience managing supplier-related quality activities, including SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Reports)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation review skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):
- Estimated hourly range: $50–$63/hr (W-2)
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
- Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Onsite)
