Commercial Litigation Attorney - Teller, Levit, & Silvertrust P.C.

Job Summary:

Commercial Collection Law firm headquartered in Chicago with multi-state footprint seeks litigation attorneys, both experienced and newly licensed practitioners. Prepare and execute court calls. Argue motions, contested hearings, arbitrations, and trials. Draft, review, and approve pleadings including complaints, motions, discovery, and post judgment enforcement proceedings. Primary Responsibilities:

· Commercial collection law firm headquartered in Chicago seeks litigation attorneys. Experienced (laterals) and newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply.

· Candidates must be highly organized, self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and be a team player.

· Prepare and execute court calls.

· Handle contested litigation including motions, contested hearings, arbitrations, and trials.

· Draft, review, and approve pleadings including complaints, motions, discovery, and post judgment enforcement proceedings

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Education: Law degree (JD) and Illinois law license required; Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky licenses a plus

· Experience: 3+ years of litigation experience a plus, but not required

· Travel: Willingness and ability to handle court hearings in different districts/counties throughout the state of Illinois

· Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, writing, and litigation skills.

· Candidates must be highly organized, self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic
