The Service Manager at United Metro Golf Carts is responsible for overseeing all service department operations, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality repairs, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role leads technicians and service staff, manages scheduling and inventory, and drives profitability while maintaining safety and operational standards.
Service Managers typically handle daily operations, staff supervision, customer relations, and service quality control. $500 signing bonus after 90 days.
Key Responsibilities
Service Department Operations
- Oversee day-to-day service department activities, including repairs, maintenance, and customization of golf carts
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and on time
- Monitor and improve shop productivity (labor hours, turnaround time, etc.)
- Review completed work orders for quality and accuracy
Customer Experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer concerns
- Ensure excellent customer service from intake to delivery
- Provide clear communication regarding repairs, timelines, and costs
- Build long-term customer relationships and retention
Inventory & Parts Coordination
- Work closely with the parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts and accessories
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Help control parts and labor costs to maintain profitability
