About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO, with a focus on AI and a strong background in fast-scaling SMBs. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the CEO and Board's vision into actionable plans, driving cross-functional initiatives, and preparing the CEO for various high-stakes engagements. This role requires a trusted partner who can also serve as a gatekeeper, sounding board, and execution lead for the CEO's most sensitive priorities. The ideal candidate will be AI-native, tech-savvy, and have experience with tools like ChatGPT and similar, as the business aims to become AI-first where appropriate. Core responsibilities for the Chief of Staff include leading high-impact special projects, running executive and SLT meetings, and acting as a communication bridge across the executive team. The role demands a professional with 7-12+ years of experience supporting CEOs or Founders, particularly in the D2C, eCommerce, or digital marketplace sectors. The candidate should have a strong understanding of these industries, board-level confidence, and a passion for areas such as sport, health, wellness, fitness, or biohacking, which could be a good cultural fit. Day-to-day tasks involve tracking priorities, metrics, and accountability, drafting CEO communications, and resolving cross-functional blockers. The Chief of Staff will also be expected to own CEO-only initiatives and proactively manage risks.
