The Company is seeking a Vice President of University Research to join its dynamic leadership team and play a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility, impact, and reputation of its research enterprise. This leadership position is focused on leading transformative change and building a robust, cross-institutional research infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary, community-engaged, and mission-aligned scholarship, including non-STEM disciplines. The ideal VPUR will be a visionary and collaborative leader, capable of advancing research in a way that is in line with the institution's mission and values. Responsibilities include leading the Office of University Research, fostering a culture of research excellence, and supporting the institution's goal of achieving R2 status. The role demands a strategic approach to research, with a particular focus on community engagement and the integration of research with the institution's educational and service activities. The VPUR will also be responsible for promoting and facilitating research partnerships, both within the institution and with external entities, to ensure that the research conducted is relevant, impactful, and aligned with the needs of the community.
