The candidate will serve a key role supporting the sales and marketing teams to identify, qualify and progress new marketing opportunities. This highly collaborative role works with various internal and external teams, to collect, organize, evaluate, and use data to help identify, contact and qualify potential customers, and move them forward in the sales pipeline, while also maintaining data integrity in the relevant Centurion systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stay up-to-date on relevant market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
  • Manage sales funnel and follow up on status of outstanding quotes and leads
  • Manage customer survey data and KPI's for existing clients
  • Aid in sales team training implementation and curriculum maintenance
  • Help maintain sales collateral for all team members including marketing materials, visual aids, and demo scheduling.
  • Assist HR department in recruiting efforts for new personnel
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


SKIILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Two or more years of experience in sales or customer service, with a track record of exceeding lead targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential customers
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Enverus a plus
  • Experience with intent and contact and business information software like Cognism and ZoomInfo
  • Demonstrated mastery in Microsoft office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Willingness and curiosity to maximize use of various lead generation software tools
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • A desire to learn and grow in the sales field.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) OR at least five years of customer service or sales support work experience
  • Demonstrates alignment with Centurion’s Shared Values through words, actions, and behaviors

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Performing the duties of this job require multiple hours of sitting or standing in front of a computer screen(s), using hands and fingers to manipulate a keyboard and mouse. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
