Frame Stylist/Optical Sales

We are seeking a dedicated Frame Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in sales, with the ability to provide exceptional patient care. As a Frame Stylist, you will be responsible for fitting and dispensing eyewear, educating patients on proper lens care, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. This role requires a blend of technical skills, retail sales experience, and a compassionate approach to patient interactions. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their needs and preferences.
• Conduct fittings and adjustments of eyeglasses and contact lenses to ensure proper fit and comfort.
• Educate patients on lens options, care instructions, and the importance of regular eye examinations.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using EMR systems such as Epic.
• Perform laboratory tasks related to eyewear production as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest optical technologies and trends in the industry.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in optical services or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Experience in retail management or sales within the healthcare sector is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient education and customer service.
