Legal Practice Assistant – Washington, DC (Hybrid) --- DIRECT HIRE
We are seeking a skilled Legal Practice Assistant to join Washington, DC office of one of our law firm client. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Corporate/Finance, Tax, or FDA who want to grow their career in a supportive, business‐casual environment at a well‐established firm.
About the Role
In this position, you will provide high‐level administrative and practice support to multiple attorneys across several practice groups. You’ll play a key role in keeping matters moving efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, track deadlines, and arrange travel.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit confidential and time‐sensitive legal documents with accuracy.
- Submit and track attorney expense reports.
- Use firm software and systems, including NetDocs, electronic court filing platforms, CRM, InTapp, Concur, NAVAN, and iCompli.
- Maintain organized client and matter files.
- Collaborate with other practice assistants to support client needs and ensure consistent, reliable service.
- Contribute to team projects, manage competing priorities, and support firm initiatives.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience supporting Corporate/Finance, Tax, or FDA practices is a plus.
Salary range:$70,000–$90,000, depending on experience.
