Title: Sales Assistant

Reports To: Sales Manager

Classification: Non -Exempt

Summary of Essential Position Functions

• Assist sales with daily duties ensuring our customers the best level of service and expertise.

Qualifications:

• Entering and following up on returns, credits and open orders.
• Cross referencing and entering quotes and orders according to customer needs.
• Detail oriented when reading customer instructions and part requirements.
• Understanding customer service skills when talking on the phone and via email.
• Calling around to buy out product needed to fulfill customer orders.
• Ability to learn the process for approvals, reports and various forms.
• Distribute tracking information and key documents when requested by customer.
• Expediting hot orders in a timely manner for customer or job site delivery.
• A want to learn product and work closely with operations to ensure proper shipment.
• Supporting the sales team with consistent communication and follow up.
• Eye for detail, double checking accuracy of all orders before being shipped.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to be flexible and receptive to everyday variables.
• Maintaining an optimistic and driven attitude to learn and excel is a must

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma, B.A Preferred

•Basic Computer Skills (MS Office) Excel training is a plus
•Data Entry
•Email Software (Outlook)
English; Fluency - Excellent Verbal and Written
