Accounting Analyst

Role Overview

The Accounting Analyst will support daily accounting operations, reporting, and analysis while working closely with senior accounting and finance team members. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, eager to learn, and brings a strong “roll-up-your-sleeves” mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, schedules, and variance analyses
• Support general ledger maintenance and financial data accuracy
• Assist with data analysis related to expenses, revenue, and financial trends
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support reporting and business needs
• Help improve and document accounting processes and controls
• Handle ad-hoc projects and analytical requests as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 0–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience (internships count)
• Strong Excel skills
• Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
