To continue expanding the company's marketing presence in the home care field and to continue with its mission of providing unparalleled service to the community, while increasing the company’s revenue, Visiting Angels in Maryland and Washington, DC, seeks to hire a Sales and Marketing Manager.

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing high-level growth strategies, aimed at increasing the customer base, revenue, market share, and profitability of Visiting Angels by using various strategies such as marketing, sales, service development, partnerships, or acquisitions. The Sales and Marketing Manager needs to have a clear vision of the business goals, the target market, the value proposition, and the competitive landscape, and design growth strategies that align with these factors. The Sales and Marketing Manager must have an understanding of homecare and experience serving Seniors and managing employees in this industry. They should also have an understanding of our Marketplace, with its own peculiarities.

The Sales and Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for identifying new business opportunities, analyzing market trends, acquiring new customers, optimizing services, tracking performance metrics, and managing budgets, often collaborating with various teams across the organization to achieve growth goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning:

Creating and implementing comprehensive business growth strategies aligned with Visiting Angels’ overall objectives, including market analysis, competitor research, and trend identification. Establishing measurable goals that align with the company's mission and vision.

  • New Business Development:

Identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and developing strategies to acquire new client base.

  • Market Analysis:

Monitoring market trends, analyzing data, identifying growth opportunities and potential client segments, and adapting strategies to meet evolving market needs.

  • Sales Leadership:

Overseeing marketing teams, setting sales targets, and coaching the Marketing team to achieve optimal performance.

  • Partnership Development:

Building strategic partnerships with other companies to expand market reach and client base. Researching new business opportunities by looking at analytics reports, speaking with industry experts, and building relationships with potential partners.

  • Performance Monitoring:

Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business growth, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, measuring specific metrics to track plan implementation and performance and making necessary adjustments.

  • Budget Management:

Managing the budget allocated to business growth initiatives, ensuring efficient and effective resource allocation.

  • Team Leadership:

Leading, motivating, and collaborating with cross-functional teams of professionals responsible for driving business growth. Assessing feasibility by communicating with different departments to ensure plans align with company goals.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Optimizing marketing by improving marketing funnels and customer lifetime value.

  • Communication and Negotiation:

Effectively communicating business growth strategies to stakeholders and negotiating deals with potential partners and clients

  • Established network within the home care/home health industry and track record of successful partnerships or business development initiatives.
