Marketing Manager
Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead execution across three operating businesses in retail and wellness. This role is responsible for driving customer acquisition, retention and measurable revenue growth. This is not a strategy-only or social media role. We are looking for someone who builds, launches, and optimizes campaigns directly.
This position is on-site and works closely with operations leadership.
Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager will own end-to-end execution and performance across multiple operating businesses.
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Build and manage a rolling 90-day marketing calendar aligned with seasonal promotions and quarterly business priorities.
- Design and execute monthly promotional campaigns (offers, bundles, habit-building incentives)
- Coordinate creative, in-store signage, digital assets and rollout across businesses.
- Ensure consistent execution across all marketing channels.
Paid Media Management
- Build, launch, and optimize Google Search and Meta campaigns
- Test and provide feedback on alternate paid media such as NextDoor, Yelp, and LinkedIn
- Manage retargeting and local acquisition strategies
- Allocate monthly budgets across locations and initiatives
- Track cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and campaign lift
CRM & Retention Marketing
- Build and manage email and SMS campaigns
- Develop lifecycle automation (welcome, reactivation, promo, loyalty)
- Drive customer visit frequency and lifetime value
- Increase digital adoption including app downloads and delivery enrollment.
Direct Mail & Local Activation
- Manage quarterly direct mail campaigns including creative coordination, vendor oversight, and performance tracking
- Oversee local sponsorships, community outreach and partnership initiatives.
- Coordinate donation programs and event participation
- Support neighborhood-level marketing efforts in collaboration with businesses.
Quarterly Growth Initiatives
- Lead focused quarterly initiatives aligned with business priorities.
- Develop targeted acquisition campaigns for new service lines.
- Test and optimize offers to drive new trial and recurring revenue.
Content & Brand Execution
- Oversee organic social media cadence.
- Ensure messaging aligns with brand pillars and value propositions.
- Create or manage production of digital and print creative assets.
Performance Reporting & Accountability
- Deliver a monthly marketing performance dashboard
- Identify what to scale, adjust, or eliminate
- Present results and recommendations to leadership.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and direct the Marketing Coordinator
- Set weekly priorities and ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain clear ownership between strategy, execution, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- 4–8 years experience in hands-on marketing execution
- Experience managing Google Ads + Meta Ads
- Experience with CRM/email platforms (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Comfortable building campaigns directly (not outsourcing)
- Background in retail, franchise, fitness, hospitality, or service businesses preferred
- Strong organizational and operational mindset.
Compensation:
- $80,000 – $95,000 base salary
- Performance-based bonus’
