PreK 3 Lead Teacher

Qualifications

• Be committed to the Catholic mission and identity of St. Augustine School

• Have strong content knowledge, instructional and classroom management skills

• Have strong knowledge of best practice in early childhood learning and RI's Early Learning & Development Standards (RIELDS)

• Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity, organization and planning

• Design, plan and implement learning strategies and assessments

• Display a willingness to participate in ongoing professional development

• Develop the ability to utilize data to differentiate instruction

• Guide students in their social-emotional development, maintaining expectations and support for positive and productive student behavior

• Communicate with families about student progress

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, principal and pastor

• Perform other responsibilities as designated by the principal or pastor

• Bachelor's Degree required

• Rhode Island Early Childhood Learning Certification preferred

• Relevant Prior Experience preferred
