Per Diem Field Speech Therapist for Hospital at Home (Broward)

• Provide hospital level skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes

• Evaluate articulation & speech sound production, language comprehension, cognitive, social communication, oral motor skills, and feeding, swallowing

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on physician orders

• Educate patients and caregivers to support therapy, goals, and communication strategies

• Accurately document visits and progress in the EMR system

• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment as needed

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high quality care

• Comply with all agency policies, and applicable state and federal regulations

• Active Florida SLP license in good standing

• Degree from an accredited Speech Therapy program

• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation

• Current CPR certification

• Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management skills

• Level two background screening
• Recent negative TB test or chest x-ray
• Strong, clinical knowledge in speech, language, pathology practice
• 1 year + experience in multidisciplinary setting, preferred
• Home health & Hospital experience, preferred
