Med-Trans Corporation is seeking a skilled VFR Helicopter Pilot Med-Trans EG to support its Healthcare & Medical Services operations within the Emergency Services department. In this role, you will operate modern, well-maintained rotorcraft to provide safe and efficient air medical transport for critically ill and injured patients, collaborating closely with an experienced clinical flight team and partner healthcare systems. You will conduct pre-flight planning, performance calculations, weather evaluation, risk assessments, and thorough aircraft inspections to ensure every mission is carried out with uncompromising attention to safety and regulatory compliance. During flight operations, you will maintain clear, professional communication with medical crew, dispatch, air traffic control, and ground partners to support high-quality patient care and timely mission completion. You will be expected to adhere strictly to Med-Trans’ safety management systems, standard operating procedures, and all applicable FAA regulations while exercising sound aeronautical decision-making in dynamic, time-sensitive environments. The position involves day, night, and weekend shifts with VFR operations and potential NVG missions, requiring strong situational awareness, crew resource management, and a calm, professional presence under pressure.
