About the Role:

The Project Executive - Education plays a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the successful delivery of construction projects within the education sector. This position is responsible for managing all phases of project execution, from initial planning and budgeting through to completion and handover, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards. The role requires close collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, and educational stakeholders to deliver facilities that meet functional, safety, and sustainability requirements. The Project Executive will lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Ultimately, this role contributes to creating learning environments that positively impact educational outcomes and community development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing construction projects, with at least 3 years focused on educational facilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards applicable to the education sector.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CCM (Certified Construction Manager), or LEED accreditation.
  • Experience working with public school districts, universities, or government agencies on construction projects.
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and green construction standards.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and tools such as Procore, MS Project, or Primavera.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple education construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee project planning, including resource allocation, procurement, and compliance with safety and building codes specific to educational facilities.
  • Monitor project progress through regular site visits, status meetings, and reporting, proactively addressing any issues or delays.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports, forecasts, and documentation to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, quality standards, and sustainability practices.
  • Mentor and guide project managers and site supervisors to foster professional growth and project excellence.
