Willapa Behavioral Health is a dynamic, nationally accredited, rural behavioral health clinic. We are looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.We offer mental health services and alcohol and drug treatment. We focus on the problems patients are currently having and help find ways to cope and to enact solutions. Our providers are trained and experienced in a variety of different areas working to coordinate and integrate patient care. Providers on our team include: Mental health therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, addiction and chemical-dependency counselors.Willapa Behavioral Health provides the following types of behavioral health care:Assessment and evaluationIndividual and group therapySubstance abuse (chemical dependency) counselingMedication evaluation and managementCase managementAs a Nurse Practitioner on this team, you will provide care to a wide range of Behavioral Health clients assigned to your caseload. The ARNP is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team and has authority to prescribe medications, order tests, create psychiatric assessment evaluations and maintain treatment plans. In this role, you will use evidence-based practices to monitor clients' progress in care. This position will be in an outpatient setting with no weekend work. Occasional evening work as needed.Willapa Behavioral Health is located in beautiful Pacific County, Washington and is bordered by the Columbia River, the Pacific Ocean with over twenty miles of ocean beaches and the Willapa Bay.
