Ellicott City, MD or Laurel, MD | Preferred Dental Preferred Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative, patient-focused team on a part-time basis. We're a close-knit group of 10 professionals who value positivity, teamwork, and providing exceptional care to our patients. Schedule Flexible - choose any day(s) of the week that work best for you Duties & Responsibilities * Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance * Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records * Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride applications and sealants * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and dental care * Assist with intraoral cameras and scanners as needed * Maintain compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols Requirements * Licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Maryland * Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply * Local anesthesia certification preferred * Laser certification preferred but not required * Positive attitude, excellent chairside manner, and strong team player * Proficient in Dentrix, digital radiography, and intraoral scanning Pay & Benefits * Competitive hourly rate * Monthly bonuses based on office performance * Additional benefits for full-time employees If you're upbeat, patient-focused, and enjoy working in a supportive, collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you!
