Business Systems Analyst – eCommerce / OMS

$49 Per Hour

5-month contract

Monday–Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm EST

Hyrbid – Columbus, Ohio

What You'll Do:

• Lead operational cutover planning and execution for a large-scale Order Management System (OMS) migration, ensuring business readiness aligns with technical timelines
• Partner closely with the Technical Cutover Lead to coordinate system transitions, data migration dependencies, environment readiness, and go/no-go decisions
• Translate technical cutover activities into clear business impacts, operational actions, and execution plans
• Develop and manage an integrated end-to-end cutover plan, identifying cross-functional dependencies across systems, workflows, and customer experience
• Ensure operational readiness across key business areas including Customer Care, Fulfillment, Store Operations, and Finance
• Create and maintain detailed cutover runbooks, including timelines, checkpoints, contingency plans, and rollback procedures
• Lead cutover rehearsals and mock events, identifying gaps and ensuring readiness prior to launch
• Act as the operational lead during live cutover, supporting command center activities, issue triage, and stakeholder communication
• Coordinate post-cutover stabilization efforts, monitoring KPIs and partnering with technical teams to resolve operational issues
• Drive post-launch reviews and continuous improvement through lessons learned and process optimization

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in product, business analysis, program coordination, or operations
• Experience supporting large-scale system implementations, migrations, or enterprise launches
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and business teams
• Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business impacts and actionable plans
• Experience developing runbooks, operational plans, or launch playbooks
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, especially in high-pressure environments
• Experience with risk identification, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination
• Familiarity with OMS platforms, eCommerce operations, or retail fulfillment workflows is a plus
• Experience participating in cutover events, releases, or command center environments is preferred
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
