Business Systems Analyst III – SAP BW/4HANA & Analytics

Location: Inglewood, CA (Hybrid: Onsite required)

Overview

A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior SAP Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise analytics, reporting, and SAP functional initiatives.

This role will serve as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders, driving data-driven decision-making through advanced SAP analytics tools and contributing to large-scale transformation efforts, including an upcoming SAP S/4HANA implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions and reporting enhancements
• Design, develop, and optimize data models, queries, and dashboards using SAP BW/4HANA
• Build and maintain reports using SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Crystal Reports, Analysis for Office)
• Develop dashboards, stories, and planning models in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Leverage S/4HANA Embedded Analytics (CDS views, analytical queries, KPI modeling) for real-time insights
• Support SAP functional areas through configuration, troubleshooting, and system enhancements
• Document business processes, test scenarios, and user procedures
• Lead stakeholder discussions and provide regular updates on initiatives
• Support enterprise projects including system upgrades, reporting modernization, and data integration
• Deliver end-user training and promote adoption of SAP analytics tools

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with:
• SAP BW/4HANA modeling and reporting
• SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Crystal Reports, Analysis for Office)
• Proven ability to analyze business processes and deliver improvements
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
