Ellicott City, MD or Laurel, MD | Preferred Dental Preferred Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative, patient-focused team on a part-time basis. We’re a close-knit group of 10 professionals who value positivity, teamwork, and providing exceptional care to our patients. Schedule Flexible – choose any day(s) of the week that work best for you Duties & Responsibilities Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride applications and sealants Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and dental care Assist with intraoral cameras and scanners as needed Maintain compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols Requirements Licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Maryland Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply Local anesthesia certification preferred Laser certification preferred but not required Positive attitude, excellent chairside manner, and strong team player Proficient in Dentrix, digital radiography, and intraoral scanning Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly rate Monthly bonuses based on office performance Additional benefits for full-time employees If you’re upbeat, patient-focused, and enjoy working in a supportive, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
