Food and Beverage Manager

Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager Salary Full-Time $70,304-$75,000

We're seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily restaurant operations while developing a high-performing team and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about hospitality, revenue growth, and operational excellence.

What It Takes to Succeed

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations while achieving financial performance goals
• Train, mentor, and hold team members accountable to service and operational standards
• Increase revenue through strategic upselling, promotions, and performance initiatives
• Oversee labor management, including payroll review and overtime control
• Implement and support in-house marketing efforts and loyalty programs
• Ensure consistent onboarding, training execution, and performance management practices
• Uphold company policies, labor regulations, and all permit requirements
• Engage with guests on the floor to elevate the overall dining experience
• Supervise nightly closing procedures and review management reports for completeness and accuracy

Education & Experience

• 1-3 years of management experience in restaurants, nightlife, or hotel/resort environments
• Strong understanding of cost controls and labor management
• Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience training and developing front-of-house teams
• Knowledge of Department of Labor standards and permit conditions
• High school diploma required; equivalent education and experience considered
• General knowledge of San Diego's hospitality and cultural landscape preferred
